27 Seconds

27 Seconds … The Aesthetic Encounter" is a conceptual photography project exploring the brief experience of viewing art in museums. Inspired by research on visitor behavior, the project examines the average time—27 seconds—people spend engaging with a single artwork. Through abstraction and appropriation, these photographs convey the limited yet impactful experience of museum encounters. Leaving impression of shape, color and curatorial imprints. They also deal with memory emotion and perceptions of these brief encounters .These photographs represent my understanding of what remains in the viewers mind of these limited encounters.    Full Project description
